Sunny summer days

It's not summer now anymore, but this year we had nice sunshine days here much more than usual. So I could enjoy summer here, though I didn't go any special places.

もちろんもう夏ではないけれど、今年の夏はいつもより長かったです。特別なところには行けなかったけど、ここで夏を満喫しました。

I enjoyed watching children playing at a fountain.

噴水のところで遊んでる子達を見るのも楽しかったです。

It's really warm (actually hot) but I had a fun.

Koniginnedag

 It was over 1 month ago already, but we had a Koniginnedag (Queen's day). As you know, next year we do have no Koninginnedag anymore, but Koningsdag (King's day)!  

So we enjoyed the last memorable Koniginnedag!

もうかれこれ1か月以上前のことですが、女王の日がありました。

ご存知のように、もう女王様は戴冠されたので、来年から女王の日はありません。王の日になります。

というわけで、最後の記念すべき女王の日を楽しみました。

Rijksmuseum

Last Saturday was very special day here in Amsterdam coz Rijksmuseum was finally opened after more than 10 years of closing!!

先週の土曜日Amsterdamはとても特別な日でした。

10年以上も閉まっていた国立美術館がついにオープン！

From 12 o'clock it would be opened, so I was there about 11:30. But so many people were already there and enjoyed the opening ceremony.

12時からオープンだったので、11時半には行きました。

でも、すでにすごい人で、みんなオープニングセレモニーを楽しんでいました。

 Queen was also there. 

She's not the real one unfortunately, but I saw the real queen too for the first time.

女王様もいらっしゃっていました。

彼女は残念ながら本物ではないけれど、本物の女王様にも初めてお目にかかれました。

And the queen opened the very heavy door with this very big key.

女王様は、このとても大きなカギでとても重い扉を開いてくれました。

Yes, we can go inside finally!

These pictures were drawn before I was born, of course. But I'm so familiar with them. These landscape or atmosphere in Amsterdam winter were never changed. It's just awesome!

この絵はもちろん私が生まれる前に描かれたものです。でも、なんだかとても親近感。というのも、今のアムステルダムの冬の風景、雰囲気が全く変わっていないんです。それってなんだかすごいことだなあとただただ思いました。

I live here for about one and half years and I got through two winters. And now I think that I can understand better than before why people here love flowers or colors so much.

こっちに来て約1年半、冬を2回乗り越えました。そして今私は、なぜここの人たちがこんなに花や色を愛するのか、以前よりよく理解できるようになった気がします。

Cafe Latei

One day I was in a cafe with my friends.

We met last time also there. It's a really lovely nice place to be.

Actually when I passed by there alone before, I would not go inside somehow. Thank you for my friends!

  ある日、友達とカフェにいました。 前回もここで会ったんだけど、とてもすてきなところです。

以前一人でここを通りかかった時は、入らなかったんだけど。

We were sitting upstairs this time.

 You see so many nice vintage stuffs in this cafe. 

And almost everything in this cafe you can buy. Also the chairs we sat had price tags. It's fun!

このカフェにはヴィンテージのものがたくさん置いてあって、カフェにあるほぼ全てのものが買えます。 私たちが座った椅子にも値札がついてるし。楽しい！ 

 

Anyway we were waiting for something this time.

Modefabriek

Last weekend, a big fashion fair was held here in Amsterdam. 

It's called "Modefabriek" and mainly for retailers.

I was luckily invited and visited there☆

先週末はここで大きなファッション展示会が開催されていました。主に小売業向けの"Modefabriek" というものです。ラッキーなことにお呼ばれして、 行ってきました☆

A looooong dining table was there suddenly.  

I was excited already, coz this is the first time for me to visit there.

わあ、いきなりながーいダイニングテーブルが。いかんせん今回が初めてなもので、すでにテンションが上がっちゃいました。

I was surprised at these two ladies too, coz I thought they were mannequins. I'm so sorry...

彼女たちにもとてもびっくりしてしまいました。マネキンと思っていたので。ごめんなさい。。。

Time passed so fast. I had been there for about 3 hours, I think.
 When I went outside, it was snowing!

But we went to swimming after that. I got a lot of energy from fashion, I think.

時間があっという間に経ってしまって、おそらく3時間ぐらいいたと思います。外に出たら、雪が降ってました。

でも、その後はプールに泳ぎに行っちゃいました。 ファッションからたくさんエネルギーをもらったんだと思います。
